The Governor of Jigawa State,Sule Lamido has expressed his dislike over the threats some northerners were facing for their refusal to supports the former Head of State,Gen Muhammahu Buhari,who is the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress,APC. “The fear of Buhari is the beginning of leadership failure; therefore Nigerians and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, government must stand up to its mandate,” His words.
Any northerner who is against the endorsement of Buhari as president was being threatened and seen as an infidel,he added,pledging that he would not deviate from his party,PDP despite the intimidations,he would always support,portray and promote the truth.
Governor Lamido also added that the greatest mistake Nigerians would make is to vote for a man who do not believe in democracy. He added that Buhari is the backbone of APC,as other members of the party are clueless. “If you remove Gen. Buhari from APC, most of other members that rally behind him in the party lack sincere commitment and focus that Nigeria requires at this present time,”he commented.
