Nigerian rapper and singer, Skales is currently promoting his debut album ‘Man Of The Year’, which he released in March. He was the man of the night at the event, playing a set which included the increasingly-accepted new songs, and popular singles. ‘Fara we mi’ with Kenny Wonder received huge applause from the audience, and so did ‘Lo le’, which had production credits from South African beatmakers, Uhuru. A small posse of celebrities came were present at the event, including Emma Nyra, Rayce, B-Red, Zeez, Reekado Banks, and Charass. The ‘Man Of The Year’, is still garnering acceptance, highly due to the success of his singles. The 22-track LP contains hit songs such as ‘I am for real’, ‘Je kan mo’, and the monster hit ‘Shake body’. Skales had earlier ushered the album into the market with a concert, and also played a similar gig in Kenya, where he was spotted hanging out with Wyre.
