PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S CONVERSATION WITH GEN. BUHARI ON PHONE

  Nigerians and the world at large commended president Jonathan of his sportsmanship, as he made a congratulatory phone call to his All Progressive Congress countepart, Gen. Buhari (rtd) on March 31, hours before the declaration of the victor of the polls.
 This act have calmed the violence that could have erupted if the president had disagreed with the outcome of the election.

Gen. Buhari's aide : Good evening.

President Jonathan's aide : Hope I'm speaking with general Buhari, sir.

Gen. Buhari's aide : Yes.

Gen. Buhari : I'm alright.  Thank you very much , your excellency.

Jonathan : (Laughs) Congratulations.

Gen. Buhari : Thank you very much your excellency (laughs)

President Jonathan : Yeah, so how are things?

Gen. Buhari : (Laughs) Well.

President Jonathan : So you'd find time to come one of this days so that we can sort out how to plan the transition period.
