Student Shot Dead By Cultists At Imo State University

The photos were sent to me on whatsapp by a friend who is a student of Imo State University and also an eyewitness of the tragedy.  The youth is a student of the school IMSU and a cultist as well.  He was shot dead at the university front gate yesterday by suspected cultists. They pursued him to the gate where he was gunned down and the gunmen fled. His body has since been taken away.


 I asked the eyewitness how it happened and he narrated;

"I was walking home with my girl friend after lecture around 6pm, then we heard a gunshot.  Everyone took on their heels, but i was courageous to stand and watch as it happened."

 "The cultists fled from the scene immediately after they shot the victim on the head.  When we reached out to the victim (after the cultists fled), he was already dead.  He added."

This friend of mine is brave not to have fled...because I can't dare to stand after hearing gunshots!
